Flagship Communities Adds 55-Acre Columbus Indiana Community to Its Portfolio

Erlanger, KY—Flagship Communities announced today that it acquired a manufactured housing community located in Columbus, Indiana. The community, named Tannehill Pointe, has 193 home lots and is the 15th community owned by the company in southern Indiana. The community is currently 88% occupied and encompasses over 55 acres, complete with a clubhouse, playground and basketball courts.

“This acquisition provides us with a high-quality community and additional homesites in southern Indiana in a community located near shopping, schools and major roadways,” said Flagship CEO Kurt Keeney. “We look forward to bringing new home sales and additional services to the residents of Tannehill Pointe.”

Tannehill Pointe is conveniently located near I-65, shopping, schools and downtown Columbus which is the county seat of Bartholomew County.  Columbus Indiana features an historic downtown area, a new adult community center, 25 miles of walking/hiking trails, arts, music and shopping along with a Saturday Farmer’s Market. The city was recognized by the American Institute of Architects as America’s sixth-best city for architectural innovation.
