Flagship Communities Acquires another community in Grant County KY
Erlanger, KY—Flagship Communities announced today that it acquired a manufactured housing community located in Grant County, Kentucky. The community, named Aspen Pointe, has 70 home lots and is the fourth community owned by the company in Grant County. The community is currently 70% occupied and encompasses 26 acres.
This acquisition provides us with additional homes and homesites in Grant County which is located within the exploding job market of Northern Kentucky and 30 miles from the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport,” said Flagship CEO Kurt Keeney. “We look forwarding to providing upgraded amenities and services to the residents of Aspen Pointe.”
Flagship plans for significant improvements in the park within the coming year. These improvements include clubhouse with full-time management staff, new playground and basketball courts, and major road resurfacing. Sub-standard homes will be removed and replaced with brand new homes available for purchase or as rentals.
Founded by college friends Kurt Keeney and Nathan Smith in 1994, the company was named to the Business Courier’s Fast 55 list of the region’s fastest growing companies in 2016, 2017 and once again in 2018, and has also been a semi-finalist two times for the Goering Center’s Family & Private Business Awards.
